The Netherlands Fellowship Program is administered by NUFFIC (Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education) to support training and education of mid-career staff in 61 developing countries.
The fellowships are for PhD studies, masters studies, and short courses offered at institutions in the Netherlands. There are several program options for individuals interested in agriculture and environment (see the second link below).
Applicants need to be successfully admitted to their chosen program in the Netherlands in order to be eligible for funding through NUFFIC. NUFFIC's priorities are applicants living and working in Sub-Saharan Africa, and women.
NUFFIC's website presents the details of the Netherlands Fellowship Program, as well as information about several other funding programs for studies in the Netherlands.
NUFFIC's next application deadline for the Netherlands Fellowship Program is 07 February 2012.
